While walking through the Abbey Gardens in Bury in Autumn, this little squirrel hops towards me, stopped, posed… then threw a look that said ‘well hurry up, I haven’t got all day’… so I shot him… with my camera!
We sometimes get horses tethered out on the common – so early one frosty morning, I liked the light behind these two beautiful ponies and ended up with a bit of accidental lens flare, that for me added to the mood of the photo.
Something a littel calmer, in contrast to the wild weather currently outside!
These were taken late one summer evening during a boat trip on the river Orwell. The first was catching the final rays of sunlight as we sailed past the yacht. The second is of the Butt & Oyster at Pin Mill… taken from the water.
It was a very special evening.
Continuing on a Christmas/winter theme, there is something very beautiful when our landscape is covered in snow – the different footprints tell so many stories… and the long shadows cast by early morning sunlight are just asking to be captured.
